Safe Haven Community Services is excited to host our annual Back-to-School Bash for the children and families we serve. This special event will take place on Saturday, August 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM at The Story Church (Timbergrove) 8200 Washington Ave Houston, TX 77007.

We need your help to make this day a success. We're calling on our community for donations and volunteers to ensure our students head back to school prepared and celebrated. Please help us spread the word by sharing our event flyer!

We're currently seeking:

  • School supply donations

  • Volunteers for setup, breakdown, and activity stations

  • Barbers, DJs, and photographers

  • Helpers to organize and pack supplies in advance

  • Churches or community groups with a venue in central Houston willing to host this event

If you or your organization can contribute in any way, we’d love to connect with you. Together, we can give these children a joyful and confident start to the new school year.


Safe Haven Family Registration

We kindly ask that you RSVP by including the children’s names and ages to help us prepare an accurate head count. This event is exclusively for families connected to Safe Haven Community Services and the Safe Haven Youth Ranch.

All school supply lists, were based off of Houston ISD’s 2025-2026 Supply List.
